Press Conference
Sandor Clegane, also known as The Hound, represented the Party of Thrones this week at the Press Conference. Clegane began by stating that, contrary to popular beliefs, the Party of Thrones will not build walls of ice along the northern and southern borders of the U.S. They will however attempt to streamline the immigration process while tightening border security. This policy has been used among many parties, and appears to be a popular tactic. He also mentioned that the government will decrease spending on healthcare, and will educate the “peasants”.
When asked about the lowering of the poverty rate, the impact on the middle class, and how those now in the middle class will be able to survive with such a large increase on taxes, The Hound simply stated that while poverty will increase, this is necessary to push us out of our national debt.

After being presented the above image depicting the President, Joffrey Baratheon, as the Queen of Hearts from the film “Alice in Wonderland”, The Hound said that they will embrace this image, as any leader must be strong and intimidating. This also means that they will continue with the beheading aspect of their platform. Later, when asked how they would answer Machiavelli’s question whether it be better to be loved than feared or feared than loved. Clegane immediately replied that love and positivity has been tried and failed, and they are “no longer trying to be nice.”
In a previous article, the Vice Presidential debates to be exact, we reported that Party of Thrones’ was unable to give a set answer on the institution of a national language. Sador Clegane clarified this, stating that they support having a national language, and that it will be whatever language the king speaks, which happens to be English at this time.
With his closing remarks, The Hound restated the immigration and ice wall policies he mentioned in his introduction, and ended by saying that the one true vote is a vote for his king.
