Press Conference
The Senior Party's was represented by Uzziah in this weeks press conference. He began with his parties stance on health care and how The Senior Party supports Obama Care and wishes to expand upon it. He then continued to explain how they want the older generation to teach the younger generation before getting cut off after the two minutes.
The Observer clarified that the Senior Party will indeed be allowing work and student visas but with time limitations. Uzziah explained how student visas will be issued to a student but it would only be valid for four years before having to return to their original country. He also explained how work visas will only be valid for 6 month before the worker must return to their country. Following up on the point of work visas The Observer asked what would happen to people who have a child while on their visas. The Senior Party admitted that they haven't thought this point out but not before saying they would force the mother and child (who would be an american citizen) out of the county. This may have a big impact on their voting numbers.
Later in the press conference Uzziah covered The Senior Party's stance on education and same sex marriage. The Senior Party believes that same sex marriage is not natural and then preceded to read a verse from the bible. Romans 1:26: Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchange natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same ways the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with list for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. It was also covered that all schools would be teaching the morals from the bible even if it went against the constitution.
The Senior Party covered many different topics during the press conference but their stance on immigration and schooling might cost them some voters. They need to think through their propositions and figure out some of the problems that have been brought up.
